What are the prerequisites?

MacIntosh G3 or later model, running OS X (10.2 or greater). You will also require Java JRE 1.4.1+ be installed BEFORE downloading Rosebud http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/java.html

Where does the plug-in go?

Rosebud plug-in goes in Acrobat's Plug-ins directory located in the following path if:

Using Acrobat 6.0:
If the Acrobat 6 executable is installed to this location:
/Applications/Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard/Acrobat 6.0 Standard
Or
/Applications/Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional/Acrobat 6.0 Professional
Use this as input to the installer.

The Rosebud plug-in is installed in the following:
/Applications/Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard/Acrobat 6.0 Standard/Contents/Plug-Ins/Rosebud
or
/Applications/Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional/Acrobat 6.0 Professional/Contents/Plug-ins/Rosebud

How do you install the Rosebud plug-in?

1. Open a web browser and enter the URL
   http://www.rosebudlms.com/Rosebud/installer/installer.jnlp
2. The installer will run. The Rosebud login dialog will display asking for ID, password, and the location of Acrobat. Enter the information for your Acrobat version and location and your Rosebud ID and password then click OK. NOTE: The default install directories are
   
   • /Applications/Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard/Acrobat 6.0 Standard for Acrobat 6.0 Standard
   • /Applications/Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional/Acrobat 6.0 Professional for Acrobat 6.0 Professional
   
3. A successful completion is indicated by Done dialog displaying Installation Successful message. Click Enter.
